About Crossfit Unmarked
CrossFit UnMarked is a community of dedicated athletes focused on education, motivation, and fun. We work hard to improve our health and fitness through high intensity training that is based on the individual’s ability. Your training will embody varied functional movements (Power=Work/Time). This deliberate variation of movement translates into optimal gains while eliminating the age-old enemy known as routine. These skills, combined with proper nutrition and a strong support community will transform your life and make you a champion!
CrossFit to us means being a versatile athlete. CrossFit UnMarked utilizes skills associated with CrossFit training such as strength, stamina, and power and focuses on technique and quality of movement. With proper technique comes a reduction in injuries while the athlete becomes a more efficient mover. The result—increased longevity of your CrossFit career.
Coach Clay Dillard
Clay Dillard is a graduate of the University of Texas at San Antonio with a degree in Kinesiology. He was introduced to CrossFit in 2010 by a patient while interning at Memorial Hermann Rehabilitation and Sports Medicine Center in Houston, Texas. After his internship at Memorial Hermann, Clay spent two years as a special assistant to the director at Northern Nevada Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, launching their Rehabilitation and Sports medicine program.
Upon moving back to Houston, Clay knew he wanted to combine his knowledge of sports medicine and love of CrossFit and so CrossFit UnMarked was born.
